When Diane Ducasse created her fashion label in 2016, the name DA/DA came to her as a matter of course. Firstly because it recalls her initials, but above all because the name evokes the joyful Dada artists of the 1910s that she loved so much. The young designer’s creations play with volumes, bright colors and the masculine is willingly invited in her feminine collections, with an elegant and timeless style.

For Monoprix, Diane Ducasse drew her ideas from the circus universe of the 1920s. Her fashion collection features check prints or bright plains, while her pop accessories complete a deliberately arty look.

For the first time, the designer also offers baby clothes with a collection designed in harmony with adult lines.

On the deco side, Diane played with shapes in primary colors by playing with stripes, asymmetries, spontaneous drawings, flat tints of color. The stool looks like a diabolo, the glasses are in the shape of colored stones, and the carpets and pillows make an allusion to Calder’s mobiles.
