The DA/DA style was born in 2016. It is timeless and elegant in its sobriety. It represents sophisticated French nonchalance that combines purity and modernity. Its offbeat, colorful and playful spirit contrasts a minimalist, structured and formal wardrobe.
The choice of fabrics and the important attention to detail in the cuts and volumes allow for comfort in elegance and a play of knotting and layering, making DA/DA a unique brand. Its iconic cross-over suit has been adopted by many personalities such as Natalia Vodianova, Caroline de Maigret, Melle Agnès or Ines de la Fressange.
Our muses are those women incredibly refined in their extravagance, Frida Khalo, Gala Dali, or George Sand, who also expressed themselves through their wardrobe often borrowed from men. At DA/DA, tailoring is no longer just a professional uniform, but has become part of our everyday life. DA/DA women are strong, free and self-confident. Dressing is not just a question of appearance, it is a real way to face her daily life with strength and panache.
For our collections, the designer Diane Ducasse draws from her memories, her travels, the artworks of her favorite painters, the cinema of the 60’s and 70’s, the people around her… The name DA/DA constantly brings to light these masters of Dadaism, a sign of limitless freedom and creativity; Dali, Miro, Calder, Delaunay, Matisse, Fernand Léger, Le Corbusier and so many others. Freedom is at the heart of our message; freedom of movement, freedom of speech, freedom to act.
